Meanwhile the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Nnamdi Kanu on the event of Biafra remembrance has sent a congratulatory message to all Biafrans at home and abroad.
He blamed the successive Nigerians government for causing poverty in the region. He assured all Biafrans that the time of freedom is around the corner.
He remembers all the fallen heroes of Biafra and wishes their families well.
The IPOB leader has however hinted that he is going to hold a live broadcast and it will be worldwide as he will address the plight of Biafrans.
Kanu has gained more support globally as he travels across the world meeting with leaders of several countries.
