The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi KANU is believed to be setting foot into the country to attend his father’s burial. It is no news that Nnamdi KANU is the most wanted man in Nigeria after being charged for treason and sedition by the federal government.

Even his group, IPOB has been declared a terrorist organization by president Buhari. This is following the agitation and violent protest by the group for the freedom and secession of Biafra from Nigeria. KANU had escapes the country by unknown means and has since then been declared wanted by the government.

The wanted man is most likely to set foot in Nigeria to attend his father’s burial and in pursuant to this, the government has deployed battalions of military personnel to Umuahia, the capital of abia state where kanu hails from.

As at now, there is no evidence that he is in the country. But speculation has it that he may disguise himself to attend this event. There is tension everywhere and even the state government has imposed a curfew on the state to prevent anyone from endangering their lives.
