Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, a Counsel to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has asserted that any South East Gov. who supports the proscription of the group “becomes complicit in repression”.
The legal practitioner stated this on his known Twitter handle on Friday.
Ejimakor argues that “as the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the state, it does not lie with an outsider (referring to the Federal Government of Nigeria) to tell you that your indigenes have turned terrorists under your nose.”
He tweets: “Any SE Gov who endorses Federal trial of #IPOBmembers for TERRORISM/treason, allegedly committed within SE, becomes complicit in repression. As the CSO of the State, it does not lie with an OUTSIDER to tell you that your indigenes have turned TERRORISTS under your nose. Be wise!”
