The Nigerian Presidency says President Muhammadu Buhari will not use his position to influence results of oncoming rerun elections in some states

March 23 across the country by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The presidency, in a statement issued by presidential spokesman Garba Shehu on Sunday, March 17 warned against hate speeches and incitement to violence through comments by political leaders.
The presidency also knocked members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) who are criticizing Buhari’s refusal to use federal might to sway results in their favour.
