It was reported that David Umahi whom is the current Ebonyi State Governor and also The President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Wordwide by name Chief Nnia Nwodo has made statments stating the need for Ndigbo in the diaspora to return home and invesr towards Economic Development of thr region.

In the Statement of the Two Igbo Leaders, they spoke on the way and manner Ndigbo has continued to overlook the investment opportunities abound in the zone was partly responsible for the slow pace of economic development in the region. So they insisted that the current situation must change if really the religion was ready to take it’s rightful place in the Country Nigeria.

The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi also spoke on the Business Opportunities in Ebonyi State, noting that his administration in the State (Ebonyi State) is to welcome and also acommodate all kinds of investors in the state.

Also The President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Wordwide, Chief Nnia Nwodo has applauded the Igbo investors from Lagos State who were in the state for investment purposes, stating to them that with the level of infrastructural developments going on in Ebonyi State, soon the state will become the economic hub of the Entire entire East.
